ALISS is A Local Information System for Scotland. We were brought in to do a technical revamp based on recommendations made by Napier University. We completed the technical overhaul under budget and within faster than expected timescales and have since been retained to do further work on the project. In 2015 ALISS was nominated for 'Best Health and Social Care Product or Service' within the prestigious Digital Leaders 100 list

"We contracted Braw Software initially to carry out a technical refresh of the innovative ALISS (A Local Information System for Scotland) engine and platform. The work was delivered on time, within budget, to a high standard and exceeding expectation on deliverables. The company has continued to work successfully with the ALISS programme, helping it reach the UK Digital Leaders 100 List in 2015 and a nomination as 'Best Health and Social Care Product or Service'. Braw Software's unique combination of commitment, passion and technical brilliance mean this Scottish software company really is one to watch. A pleasure to work with."

Twig World Logo

Twig World is an four time Bett award winning digital media company offering film-based educational resources via a subscription service. We worked on the companies main subscription service as well as leading on the development of a second service, TigTag, for the primary school market.

"Braw Software was instrumental in the planning, development and execution of several large scale projects at Twig. As well as being great at development they were able to communicate ideas effectively, explaining complex technical solutions in a clear and understandable way to employees at all levels of the company. Braw Software could always be counted upon to provide smart well considered solutions. I hope I have the opportunity to work with them again in the future"

SIGN (Scottish Intercollegiate Guidelines Network) develops evidence based clinical practice guidelines for the NHS in Scotland. We developed an iOS application so that SIGN Guidelines could be viewed on iOS devices. In 2011, the app won Best NHS Scotland use of Mobile technology in NHS Scotland at the eHealth Awards.

"Root Creative first collaborated with Braw software in 2010 to produce an iOS App on behalf of the Scottish Intercollegiate Guidelines Network (SIGN), part of NHS Healthcare Improvement Scotland. In October 2011, the SIGN Guideline app won first prize for Best NHS Scotland use of Mobile technology in NHS Scotland at the eHealth Awards in Edinburgh. It was a pleasure to work alongside Braw. They displayed a technical excellence and attention to detail, in addition to a high degree of professionalism and understanding of the app market and end-user requirements."
